It's a.....

We have so many great things to catch up on with blogging but rather than go back 4 months I decided to share our exciting news... 

We are having a BABY!! We are due November 8th. I had my ultrasound today. It is my fourth one and it never gets old. It is amazing to see that little child moving around in my belly. Miracle! So the kids have been counting down the days for months now. They have been so excited so I decided to monopolize on the enthusiasm and made a little game out of it. 

We started with a little chart:

I bought 60 colored balloons and had them all filled with air. I cut out little foot prints on my cricut. Brown vs. Red. The kids went WILD!!! After explaining the rules, they ran down stairs and began popping.

This morning while I was getting ready I overheard a little conversation between Anna And Quinn

Q: "I just know it is going to be a girl. It's a girl."

A: "Why do you keep saying that? Don't you want a brother?"

Quinn stops playing and goes quiet.

Q: "Actually I changed my mind. I think it is a boy!"

When I got home from the ultrasound Anna was begging me to tell her. After telling her a million times I wasn't going to tell her she says...Will you at least tell me what kind of privates it has? ....

After the night was over and we were all in bed little Quinn came running into our room and said, "Mom, I don't mean to disobey you but I just wanted to give my baby brother a kiss goodnight." He climbed up on my bed, kissed my belly and with smile the size of texas he ran in to his room and went to bed! 

I am so incredibly excited to welcome another sweet spirit into our home. I hope this little child can feel the enormous amount of love we already have for him!
