Lake Powell

Oh how I love Lake Powell! It has been over 7 years since we have been there. Much much too long. We decided to bring the two older kids with us. They were in HEAVEN. They loved every minute of the whole experience. 

 There is little in this world that can make me so happy as the beauty of the canyons mirrored by the flawless water...at 10:30 in the morning!!!

 One of the highlights for Quinn....the tube. He was the man. As soon as he conquered his initial fear he  insisted that he ride alone and would keep us entertained by his "tricks". 

 I got to show Anna my all time favorite way to build sand castles...she was a fan!

 My father-in-law always has the right idea!

 This picture depicts Quinn's all -time favorite thing... He brought with him this little blue toy boat. When the boat was anchored he would take the tube and rig the rope so it was behind his toy boat and pull the tube back and forth across our beach. He played like this for hours and never got bored.

 Quinn was just enamored with everything Boat related. The last time we pulled the boat out, uncle Andy showed the kids what happens when he pulls the plug...fascinating!!

 All of us missed this little on like crazy. We couldn't wait to get home to see our sweet Charlotte Jane. She had some awesome bonding time with Grandma Janet. I am so incredibly lucky to have someone I trust so fully with my kids. Thank you so much mom!!!

 What a wonderful vacation!
